110th Street

110th Street was first introduced to Galway nightlife in the Town Hall in November 1998.
Residencies have been held in the Radisson, GPO, The Vic and Deeper/The Cellar, along with others in Dublin, Cork and appearances at clubs and festivals all over the country.
Next stop - Monroe's Tavern in Galway's West..

  • With Liveline’s myrmidons of misery stirring up hatred for The Rave on the airwaves, it’s time for 110th Street to rise up once again and remind you that there are fewer greater pleasures in life than dancing the short summer nights away amongst friends & strangers to joy…ous and intoxicating sounds. This much we know. It’ll soon be approaching late July, the height of Galway’s summer festival season and we’ll be doing our damnednest to bring the carninvalesque vibe of our recent Volz party (at the Blue Note) to the place that some call Moe’s Tavern. We’ll be drawing on disco, house, techno & gravity-defying basslines to make every second of the party count. Of course, your help is much appreciated – so if you have any tune suggestions, don’t be shy, post them here => https://www.facebook.com/events/131744073632552/ Saturday 28th July. Come join us: let’s make it a festival (before Enda Kenny makes dance music illegal)
